Nordic is one of Sweden's most active folk music bands at the moment. With their infectious charm and utter joyful playing, the band has been successful both in Sweden and in abroad. Nordic is a folk music band, and at the same time not a folk band. With a solid foundation in folk music, the trio freely searches for new forms of expression. The result is cinematic compositions filled with distinct soundscapes, groove and improvisation.

Nordic's willingness to explore and search for an integral and unique sound takes the instruments beyond their traditional playing techniques, and contributes to Nordic’s experimental form of expression.

Last year, the ensemble performed at the international folk music expo WOMEX with great success.
